About the event
The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust will be hosting an Arkansas Crayfish ID workshop on April 15, featuring Dustin Lynch, Aquatic Ecologist from the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. The workshop will be divided into two parts, a classroom session in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m at the Kessler Mountain Nature Center and Outdoor Classroom, and a field session in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Flint Creek Headwaters Preserve in Springtown. Participants can attend one or both sessions. This workshop is a great opportunity for participants to learn about the identification and ecology of Arkansas crayfish, as well as their importance in freshwater ecosystems.
